ABOUT GeoBee!

GeoBee! is not an arcade game, although it can easily be played that way – it’s easy! -> The game starts, you touch the screen to begin. You are shown a pattern in the preview window. Your job is simple: Redraw the pattern as accurately and as quickly as you can. Direction of tracing is at the user’s/therapist’s discretion.

GeoBee! offers a variety of libraries designed for different purposes and skill levels. Select a different library to suit your needs from those installed with the game or the online library. Libraries available for basic targeting to advance surgically-precise motor skills.

GeoBee! libraries are professionally designed by learning, development, and rehabilitation specialists. They include instructions for what patterns to display as well as many other play parameters to change the nature of game play to suit the needs of doctors and therapists.

GeoBee! also provides a reporting mechanism to monitor player activity. Requires the user set the reporting email address in the Configuration menu. Additional professional controls will be available in upcoming versions.

Users are encouraged to use Configuration and Hint options to alter gaming to suit needs of different players.

The Details -

Under the hood, GeoBee!s technology is based on leading principles of vision science and rehabilitation. As the user interacts with screen objects and prompts, the VisionMechanic Vision Development Engine (VDE) monitors behaviour and raises or lowers the bar to keep things at just the right level of difficulty for optimal learning. GeoBee! has an entry point for all ages: From very simple to very complex tasks.

The ‘Bar’ is raised whenever a player performs well, this will increase difficulty of play parameters. Likewise, when the player performs less well, the Bar is lowered and play becomes easier. This maintains optimal levels of challenge for maximized learning.

GeoBee! offers an optional content subscription for either one month (CAN$7) or one year (CAN$42) for access to the growing collection of pattern libraries. These subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of the period, unless cancelled by the user.
